Eryn Smith, President & CEO. Eryn’s career in technology started early, working part time for plasma processing company Technics while still in high school. He went on to study electrical engineering, micro-electronics, and physics. After graduation he was recruited to join Trans Pacific Technology, as the lead process engineer working with the five original founders. Trans Pacific acquired Metron Semiconductors in 1994 and the company grew from 6 employees to over 2000 and went public in 1998 at close to $1B in annual revenue. Eryn, left Metron shortly after the public offering as the Chief Technologist and founded Beam Services, Inc. Eryn holds undergraduate and advanced degrees in Electronics and Physics from UC Berkeley, as well as Walden University. He has been awarded multiple domestic and international patents and has been widely published. Eryn is a member of IEEE, SPIE, and a former member of the YEO and EO global management organizations. Most recently Eryn has been active with the ministry of health and education of the Cayman Islands, in conjunction with Oxford and St. Matthews University to implement X-ray and SEM education on the Island. |

Chip Maschal, Vice President Global Sales and Business Development. Chip Maschal is responsible for driving the company’s global brand, creating and managing the sales and marketing infrastructure, and strategic business development. He brings to Beam Services over 18 years of experience in the Semiconductor Capital Equipment industry, managing customer service and sales organizations. Previously, Chip held the position of US Semiconductor Sales Manager for Carl Zeiss SMT where he was responsible for the management of team sales strategies focused on semiconductor Tier I accounts. Chip holds an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Business and a minor in Aviation Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida. |

Don Ingersoll, Vice President, Global Product and Customer Support. Don’s role includes managing the customer support function for service to a variety of clients worldwide. Don possesses 30 years of engineering and leadership experience in and out of the semiconductor industry. He received his initial electronics and computer engineering training while serving aboard fast attack submarines in the U.S. Navy. Don has worked for several semiconductor equipment and product manufacturers including Applied Materials, FEI, Varian, and Micron. His past roles include factory assembly, final test technician, field service engineer, technical support engineer, field applications engineer, lead service and applications engineer, process engineer, and various field and customer support management positions. Don holds dual B.S. degrees in Electronics Engineering Technology and Business Management from Colorado Tech. |

Eric Woster, Engineering/Applications, has worked in the Semiconductor equipment industry for more than 30 years in Inspection, Wet Processing and Ion/Electron Beam technologies. 20 years working with Seiko (SIINT) on Semiconductor Analytical and Inspection tools and more than 10 years working with Japanese and German Photomask Wet Processing tools at Sigmameltec and Suss/Hamatech. Eric started and was President of corporations and managed multiple groups and divisions in his career.
